Terms and Conditions

1. Welcome

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to karenfaheymagi.com and everything connected to it, including the Magi Membership, Through the Looking Glass; the Birth Card reader at cards.karenfaheymagi.com; and any readings, courses, or other offerings you purchase through these sites. Everything here is offered by Karen Fahey Magi, a sole proprietor based in Austin, Texas (“I,” “me,” or “KFM”). “You” means anyone who visits, purchases, or joins. By using these sites, making a purchase, or joining the membership, you agree to these Terms and to my Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility and Your Account

You must be 18 or older to purchase anything or join the membership. Please give accurate information when you sign up and keep your login private. Each membership is for one person; accounts and logins may not be shared.

3. The Nature of This Work

My offerings, including Cards of Destiny readings, astrology, candle magick, ritual, and psychic and psychic-somatic practices, are offered for spiritual and educational purposes. They are not medical, psychological, psychiatric, financial, legal, or other professional advice, and they are not a substitute for care from a licensed professional. Please don’t start, stop, or change any medical or mental health treatment based on anything you receive from me.

Readings and rituals offer insight and intention, not guarantees. I can’t promise specific results or outcomes. You remain fully responsible for your own choices, actions, and wellbeing.

4. The Membership

4.1 What’s included. Membership currently includes a monthly live call on Zoom, weekly channeled transmissions, the members feed and community, and free access to my candle casting courses while you’re a member. The specific content, schedule, and format may evolve over time.

4.2 Tiers and pricing.

• Standard: $50 per month or $500 per year
• Founding (The First Casting, limited to 10 members): $25 per month or $250 per year
• Patron (limited to 7 members): $2,500 per year, billed annually only. Includes everything in the Standard membership, plus one reading with me each membership year.

4.3 Automatic renewal. Your membership renews automatically. You’ll be charged when you join, then again every month or every year (depending on your plan) on the same date, at your plan’s rate, until you cancel. Payments are processed through PayPal. If you’re on an annual plan, I’ll send you a reminder by email before each renewal.

4.4 Cancel anytime. You can cancel at any time from your account page on the site, through your PayPal account, or by emailing karen@karenfaheymagi.com. Once you cancel, you won’t be charged again, and you’ll keep full access through the end of the period you’ve already paid for.

4.5 Refunds.

• Monthly plans: no refunds.
• Annual plans (Standard, Founding, and Patron): you can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase. If you’re a Patron and you’ve already received your included reading, your refund will be $2,500 minus $555, the value of that reading.
• After 14 days, annual plans are non-refundable, and I don’t offer refunds for partial months or years.
• If I remove someone from the membership (see 4.12), refunds are at my discretion.

4.6 Founding rate. Founding members keep their rate for life, as long as their membership stays active. If a Founding member cancels and later rejoins, they’ll join at the standard price at that time.

4.7 Patron reading. Your included reading must be used within your membership year. Unused readings expire at the end of that year and don’t roll over.

4.8 Price changes. I may change membership prices in the future, including for current members. If a change affects what you pay, I’ll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect, and you can cancel before then. Founding rates are locked and won’t change as long as your membership stays active.

4.9 Live calls. Live calls are held on Zoom. The Zoom link is for members only; please don’t share it. I may occasionally need to reschedule a call, and I’ll let members know as early as I can.

4.10 Sobriety agreement. Our live calls take us into a shared psychic space together. Out of respect for yourself, the group, and the work, you agree to arrive completely sober, with no substances for at least 24 hours before each live call.

4.11 Recordings. Live calls are recorded. Recordings are posted to the members feed, and I may also share clips from calls publicly, including on social media. If your camera and microphone are on, your image and voice may appear in these recordings and clips, and by joining with them on, you consent to being recorded and to that content being shared both within the membership and publicly. If you’d prefer not to appear, keep your camera off and stay muted.

4.12 Community and confidentiality. What members share in calls and in the feed is meant for this community. Please don’t screenshot, record, repost, or repeat what other members share outside the membership. (This applies to members; as described in 4.11, I may share clips from calls.) Treat everyone with respect. I may remove anyone whose behavior harms the community or who breaks these Terms. Refunds in these cases are at my discretion.

5. Readings

Readings are paid in full in advance and are non-refundable. You can reschedule a reading at any time, and readings are transferable: you’re welcome to give yours to someone else. This includes the reading included with a Patron membership, which can also be given to someone else within your membership year. Readings are recorded and delivered to you as a private web page with the recording, for your personal use.

6. Courses

You’ll get access to a course once your purchase is complete, and you’ll have access for as long as the course is offered on my site. Courses are non-refundable. Course access is for your personal use only. Members have free access to my candle casting courses while their membership is active.

7. Content and Ownership

My content. Everything I create and share, including transmissions, call recordings, readings, courses, writing, images, sigils, and designs, belongs to me. You’re welcome to use it for your own personal practice. You may not copy, share, sell, record, teach, or redistribute it without my written permission.

Your content. You own what you post in the membership, including your profile, photo, and posts. By posting, you give me permission to display it within the membership so the community can see it.

8. Taking Care of Yourself

Ritual, readings, and psychic-somatic work can bring up strong emotions and physical sensations. You participate voluntarily and agree to take care of yourself, to step back from any practice that doesn’t feel right for you, and to seek professional support when you need it.

9. Limitation of Liability

My sites and offerings are provided as they are. To the fullest extent the law allows, I’m not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of my sites or offerings, and my total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid me in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms from time to time. When I do, I’ll post the new version here with a new “last updated” date. If a change materially affects members, I’ll also let you know by email.

11. Resolving Disputes

If something isn’t right, please email me first. We’ll try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days. If we can’t, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.

Privacy Policy

Who I Am

This Privacy Policy explains how Karen Fahey Magi (“I” or “me”), a sole proprietor based in Austin, Texas, collects and uses your information across karenfaheymagi.com, the Magi Membership, the Birth Card reader at cards.karenfaheymagi.com, and any readings or courses you purchase.

What I Collect

• Contact information: your name and email address, when you join my email list, reveal your Birth Card, book a reading, or make a purchase.
• Account and profile information: for members, your login details, birth date, birth time, birth place, and profile photo. I use your birth details to calculate your Cards of Destiny and your Sun, Moon, and Rising signs.
• Payment information: payments are processed by PayPal. I never see or store your full card or bank details.
• Community content: posts, comments, and reactions you share in the membership.
• Recordings: live membership calls are recorded, and your image and voice appear if your camera and microphone are on. Readings are also recorded and transcribed so I can deliver them to you.
• Website usage: like most websites, mine use cookies and analytics tools that collect information such as the pages you visit, your browser, and how you found my site.

How I Use It

To deliver what you’ve purchased or joined, run the membership, calculate your cards and chart placements, send you emails, process payments, understand how people use my sites so I can improve them, and share my work on social media.

Who I Share It With

I share your information only with the services that help me run my business, and only as needed:

• PayPal (payments)
• Mailchimp (email)
• Zoom (live calls)
• My website hosting providers
• A transcription service (readings)
• Analytics and social media tools, such as Google Analytics and Meta

These services have their own privacy policies. I may also share information if required by law.

I do not sell your personal information.

Who Can See What You Share

Inside the membership, other members can see your profile, your posts and comments, and call recordings. Clips from live calls may also be shared publicly, including on social media, and may include you if your camera or microphone was on.

Emails

When you join my list or reveal your Birth Card, you’ll receive emails from me. You can unsubscribe anytime using the link at the bottom of any email. Members will still receive essential membership emails, like call reminders and billing notices, while their membership is active.

Cookies and Tracking

My sites use cookies and similar tools for analytics and marketing, which may include third parties collecting information about your activity across websites. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. My sites don’t currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.

How Long I Keep Your Information

I keep your information for as long as you’re a member or customer, and afterward as long as needed for my records, legal obligations, or to resolve disputes.

Your Choices

Members can update their profile anytime from their account. For any other questions about your information, email karen@karenfaheymagi.com.

Security

I use reputable, secure services to store and process your information, but no online system is completely secure.

Age

My sites and offerings are for adults 18 and older. I don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to This Policy

If I update this policy, I’ll post the new version here with a new “last updated” date, and notify members by email if the change is significant.
